Kaffeebrotchen - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 lb. butter (5 cubes)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    6 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bring butter to room temperature.
    Cream the butter and sugar; add eggs and mix well.
    Add vanilla and flour.
    Roll out dough 1/8 inch thick on lightly floured board.
    Cut with cookie cutter and lay on ungreased pans or on waxed paper on breadboard.
    Chill several hours or overnight.
    Brush with lightly beaten egg white and sprinkle with finely chopped nuts.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 about 10 minutes.
    Makes about 12 dozen.
