Curry Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. pickling cucumbers, thinly sliced (8 c.)
    1 medium onion, thinly sliced
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 green pepper, cut into thin strips
    2 c. vinegar
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. curry powder
    2 tsp. pickling spice
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl, combine cucumbers and onion.
    Sprinkle with salt.
    Cover with ice water and let stand for 3 hours.
    Drain well.
    Rinse and drain again.
    Combine all ingredients.
    Heat just to boiling.
    Fill pint jars, leaving 1/2-inch headspace. Refrigerate when cooled.
