2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. chocolate morsels
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
Beat butter, sugar and brown sugar in large mixing bowl.
Add eggs. Gradually beat flour mixture.
Add morsels and nuts.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls to ungreased baking sheets.
Bake in preheated 375\u00b0 oven for 9 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 2 minutes and remove to wire racks to cool.
Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
