Sara'S Cinnamon Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    2 c. milk, scalded and cooled
    1/2 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. Crisco, melted
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    5 to 6 c. regular flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water with 1 teaspoon sugar.
    In a large bowl put 3 cups flour; stir in milk, sugar, Crisco, baking powder, salt and egg.
    Mix until smooth.
    Add yeast mixture and enough flour to make dough easy to handle.
    Turn dough onto floured board and knead for 5 minutes until smooth.
    Place in a greased bowl and let rise in a warm place, about 1 1/2 hours or until doubled in bulk.
    Divide dough in 3 parts.
    Place 1/3 dough on floured board and roll into an oblong shape, approximately 1/2 inch thick.
