Saucy Pineapple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (4 serving size) pkg. regular vanilla pudding
    1/3 c. water
    1 (1 layer size) pkg. yellow cake mix
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine undrained pineapple, pudding mix and 1/3 cup water.
    Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
    Pour into greased 9 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Prepare cake mix according to package directions; pour batter over pineapple mixture in pan. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool 10 minutes; invert onto serving plate.
    Makes 9 servings.
