Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 medium potatoes, cut in large pieces
    1 onion, chopped
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 stick butter
    1 can of Cheddar soup
    Small box of Velveeta cheese, cut into squares
    Milk to cover potatoes
Preparation
    Boil potatoes and onions with salt cooking until tender. Pour off excess water.
    Add butter, soup and cheese.
    Mix well. Cover all with milk.
    Cook on low until thicken; about 30 to 40 minutes.
