Taco Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1/2 onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    garlic to taste
    2 cans regular pinto beans
    1 can hominy or corn
    2 cans seasoned Mexican stewed tomatoes
    1 pkg. taco seasoning
    1 small pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch dressing
    grated cheese
Preparation
    Brown meat, onion, salt (you may want to omit this because of other seasonings), pepper and garlic in a large 8-quart pan.
    Add all other ingredients, except cheese.
    Simmer as long as you like. Serve with grated cheese.
