Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 large onion
    1 clove garlic
    2 Tbsp. minced green pepper
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 1/2 cans water
    pinch of thyme
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    2 lb. shrimp, cleaned
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 Tbsp. cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Heat oil at medium heat.
    Add onions and cook until soft, about 6 to 8 minutes.
    Stir in garlic and green pepper.
    Saute for 2 minutes.
    Blend flour, add sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Stir in water, thyme, parsley, shrimp, salt, pepper and cayenne.
    Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
