Sweet Potatoes With Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients

6 to 8 small sweet potatoes
6 to 8 apples, peeled and sliced thin
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
1/2 stick margarine
2 c. hot water

Preparation

Mix together in saucepan sugar, cornstarch, salt, margarine and hot water.
Stir over medium heat until thick.
Put sweet potatoes and apples in layers in buttered casserole dish.
Pour sauce over.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until sweet potatoes are tender.
