Virginia Apple Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. milk
2 c. cooked apple slices *
Preparation

Melt butter in 2-quart casserole.
Combine next 6 ingredients to make batter; pour on butter.
Drain apples; pile in center of batter.
Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) until batter covers fruit and crust browns, 30 to 40 minutes.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
