Oatmeal Crispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. margarine or butter
1/4 c. butter flavor Crisco
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. Crystal Wedding oats

Preparation

Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
Mix sugars, butter, Crisco, egg and vanilla.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes.
Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Makes about 3 dozen.
