Smothered Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground beef
1 c. soft bread crumbs
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
salt and pepper
2 tbsp. oil
1 can onion soup
Preparation

Combine beef and crumbs.
Add eggs, milk and seasonings and mix thoroughly.
Shape into balls and brown in oil.
Add onion soup and cook slowly for 20 minutes or until meatballs are tender. Variation: Use mushroom soup, flatten balls into patties and wrap each with strip of bacon.
