Chicken A La Chardon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    salt and pepper to taste
    3 tsp. garlic powder
    1 c. Italian seasoned bread crumbs
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    3 chicken breasts, boned and split
    1/2 lb. butter or oleo
    1 tsp. finely chopped parsley
    juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
Preparation
    Beat eggs with salt and pepper to taste and 2 teaspoons garlic powder; set aside.
    Combine bread crumbs, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and Parmesan cheese.
    Dip each chicken piece in egg mixture, then roll in crumb mixture.
    Arrange chicken pieces in a single layer in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
