Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
2 c. milk
3 eggs
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 stick butter
Preparation

Mix sugar, salt, flour and cocoa; stir in egg yolks.
Add milk and cook until thick.
Add butter and vanilla.
Turn into cooked pie shell and top with meringue made with reserved egg whites.
