Caramel Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 tsp. golden syrup
    2 Tbsp. condensed milk
    pinch of salt
    4 Tbsp. hot water
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add remaining ingredients, except water.
    Stir over heat until mixture is thick and turns rich caramel color.
    When mixture leaves sides of pan, remove pan from heat; add hot water, a little at a time.
    Return to heat; simmer 2 to 3 minutes; let cool.
    Serve with ice cream, pancakes or cake.
