Corn Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. pancake mix
1/2 c. cornmeal
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg
2/3 c. milk
2 Tbsp. melted shortening
10 to 12 frankfurters

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together except frankfurters.
Dip frankfurters into batter.
Fry in deep hot fat about 4 minutes or until brown.
Turn and cook until a golden brown.
