Brazilian Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. raw rice
1 Tbsp. salad oil
garlic
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces and liquid
2 c. hot water
1 (1 1/4 oz.) envelope onion soup mix
1 1/2 c. peeled and chopped tomatoes
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. oregano
Preparation
-
Saute rice, garlic and mushrooms in oil until rice begins to brown.
Stir in hot water and onion soup.
Add tomatoes, salt and oregano.
Pour into casserole. Cover and bake for 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
