Beef Potato Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 envelope dried onion soup mix
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. undiluted evaporated milk
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
4 c. thinly sliced peeled potatoes
1 tsp. dried parsley flakes (optional)
1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated (1 c.)

Preparation

Stir soup mix well and add 3 tablespoons to beef, milk, crumbs and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
Mix lightly but thoroughly and spread evenly in a shallow 2-quart baking dish.
Mix remaining soup and salt with potato and parsley, if desired.
Arrange evenly on meat mixture.
Cover with lid or foil and bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 1 hour.
Uncover and sprinkle with cheese.
Bake 15 minutes longer and sprinkle with paprika.
Makes 6 servings.
