Green Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. beef chuck or round
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 clove garlic
1 1/2 tsp. grated ginger or 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 c. oil
1 c. green onion, sliced
1 c. red or green pepper, diced
2 stalks celery, thin sliced
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
2 tomatoes, cut in wedges
Preparation

Cut beef in 1/8-inch strips.
Combine soy sauce, garlic, ginger and beef strips, then toss; set aside.
Heat oil in large frypan or wok.
Add beef; fry until brown.
Add vegetables; stir-fry until tender-crisp, about 10 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with water; add to pan.
Stir until thickened and add tomatoes; heat through.
