Cowboy Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. cornbread mix (I use Martha White yellow cornbread mix)
1 large can cream style corn
3 eggs
1 lb. ground beef, browned
1 onion, chopped
1 can chopped chilies
2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
1 pkg Old English Sharp
Preparation

Mix together cornbread mix, corn and eggs.
Pour 1/2 cornbread mixture in 9X13 greased baking dish.
Add browned meat.
Add chilies on top of meat.
Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on meat and chilies.
Lay cheese slices on top of grated cheese.
Top with remaining cornbread mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees until brown (about 30-40 minutes).
