Cheesy Sausage Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. elbow macaroni
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Brown 'N Serve sausage links
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded American cheese
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
2 eggs
pimento strips (optional)
Preparation

Cook macaroni and drain. Brown sausage links.
Drain on paper towels.
Halve each lengthwise; set aside.
In saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour.
Add milk all at once. Cook until thick and bubbly. Add cheese slowly, stirring until melted. Beat eggs with mixer and gradually add to hot cheese mixture.
Stir in macaroni. Arrange sausage links, cut sides toward center, along the two long sides of a loaf pan.
Spoon macaroni and cheese mix into center. Cover loosely with foil. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until set. After 10 minutes, invert onto serving platter.
Garnish with pimento strips. Serves 6.
