Hawaiian Style Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans sweet potatoes, drained
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1/4 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/4 c. light brown sugar, packed
Preparation
    Slice yams into 1/2-inch thick pieces.
    Combine with pineapple, butter, sugar and cinnamon in 2-quart casserole. Microwave on High for 4 minutes; stir.
    Sprinkle top with brown sugar and pecans.
    Microwave on High for 2 to 4 minutes.
    If dish is not hot and topping is not melted after 2 minutes, rotate 1/4 turn before continuing to microwave.
