Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground round
    1 large onion, diced
    1 large green pepper, diced
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 or 2 tsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Brown meat; drain fat.
    Add onion and pepper; cook until tender.
    Stir in rice, tomatoes, chili powder, salt and pepper. Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole.
    Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0. Top with grated cheese the last 15 minutes.
