Christmas Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bread, broken in pieces
    1/2 lb. mellow cheese, slivered
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    butter
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Line bottom of greased casserole with half the bread; add half the cheese.
    Sprinkle with half the salt and half the mustard. Repeat layers.
    Dot with butter.
    Beat eggs and milk together; pour over casserole.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Place casserole in pan of water.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
