Hot Mushroom Turnovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    butter or margarine, softened
    1 1/2 c. sifted regular all-purpose flour
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, minced
    1 large onion, minced
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. thyme leaves
    2 Tbsp. regular all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. sour cream
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Early in day or 2 hours before serving:
    In large bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed, beat cream cheese, 1/2 cup butter or margarine and 1 1/2 cups flour until soft dough forms.
    Wrap dough in waxed paper; refrigerate at least 1 hour.
