Gourmet Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. uncooked regular or brown rice
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    4 oz. blanched almonds
    1 can beef broth
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Bake in a greased casserole at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Add water if necessary.
