Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small jar diced pimento
    1 large can asparagus spears
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    mild Cheddar cheese
    3 or 4 boiled eggs
    Ritz crackers
    1 can water chestnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Spread 1/2 of the pimento, 1/2 of the asparagus (cut up), 1/2 of the boiled eggs (cut up), 1 can of soup and small slices of cheese on bottom of casserole dish (11 3/4 x 7 1/2-inch is a good size).
    Spread remainder of pimento, asparagus, eggs, more slices of cheese and the second can of soup.
    Cover the top with crushed Ritz crackers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until bubbly.
