Lizzies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 whole eggs
1 box brown sugar
1 c. white Karo
2 lb. pecans, chopped
1 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. candied pineapple
1 (8 oz.) box dates
1 can moist coconut
3 tsp. soda, dissolved in 3 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
1 c. whiskey
4 c. flour
Preparation

Sift flour.
Mix eggs, sugar, syrup, spices, coconut, flour, soda and whiskey.
Then add fruits and nuts.
Batter will be runny.
Drop on greased cookie sheet and cook at 250\u00b0 for 25 minutes (put a pan of water under cookie sheet).
Let sit on sheet a few minutes; do not pile up.
(Drop 1 teaspoon for each cookie.)
