Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bread
    1/2 stick butter
    1 1/2 c. medium sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    5 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. half and half
    1 lb. hot sausage
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Cook sausage and drain.
    Melt butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Tear bread into small pieces and sprinkle over butter, then crumble sausage over bread.
    Divide cheese evenly over bread and pour eggs over all.
    Season and cover.
    Chill overnight.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
