Banana Pudding(U. S. A.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg yolks
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 heaping Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. water
    3 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    egg whites
    vanilla wafers
    sliced bananas
Preparation
    Mix egg yolks, sugar and flour slow.
    Stir in 1 tablespoon water.
    Add milk; cook until it begins to get thick.
    Set off stove and mix in vanilla.
    Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry.
    In a casserole, put layer of vanilla wafers, layer of sliced bananas and some of the pudding.
    Repeat until pudding is used up (usually takes about 3 bananas).
    Put beaten egg whites on top of pudding.
    Brown under broiler.
