Chow-Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. chopped cabbage
    2 c. chopped green tomatoes
    3 chopped onions
    1 1/2 chopped green peppers
    1 1/2 chopped red bell peppers
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. ground mustard
    1 1/2 Tbsp. white mustard seed
    3/4 Tbsp. celery seed
    1/4 Tbsp. cloves (tied in a bag)
Preparation
    In a separate vessel put vinegar, sugar, mustard, mustard seed, celery seed and cloves.
    Heat to boiling; add well-drained vegetables.
    Cook slowly until tender (about 1/2 hour).
    Put into sterile jars.
    Process 10 minutes at simmering temperature.
