Apple Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. soda
2 c. peeled, diced apples
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 Tbsp. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, beaten well.
Stir in flour and salt.
Dissolve soda in buttermilk; add to batter, mixing well. Stir in vanilla and apples.
Spoon into well-greased and floured loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3-inch).
Sprinkle with topping.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
