Oven Fried Herb Chicken - cooking recipe

3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. paprika
1 1/2 tsp. rosemary, crushed
1 tsp. chervil
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 broiler-fryer chickens (about 2 1/2 lb. each), cut-up
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Place butter in a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch pan; place in oven and melt butter.
Combine flour and seasonings in bowl.
Dip chicken pieces in butter, then flour; coat well. Arrange chicken, skin side down in single layer in remaining butter in pan.
Bake 20 minutes; turn chicken, continue baking 35 to 40 minutes until tender.
Baste with drippings.
Remove chicken to heated platter, keep warm.
