Applesauce Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Applesauce
    1 c. Chopped Raisins
    1 c. Sugar
    1/2 c. Shortening
    1/2 c. Chopped Nuts
    2 c. Sifted Flour
    2 tsp. Baking Soda
    1/2 tsp. Salt
    1 tsp. Cinnamon
    1 tsp. Nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. Cloves
    1/2 to 1 c. Chopped Fruit (optional)
Preparation
    Warm the applesauce, and cream the sugar and shortening, combine.
    Sift the dry ingredients.
    Combine the wet and dry ingredients, alternating and then add the nuts and raisins.
    Add 1/2 cup chopped candied fruit.
    Use a 9x5x3-inch greased bundt or angel cake pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour, or more if needed.
