Spiced Pears - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 3/4 c. sugar
2 pt. water
1 pt. apple cider vinegar
3 to 3 1/2 doz. pears
1 Tbsp. ginger root (may substitute ground ginger)
1 1/2 tsp. whole cloves
2 Tbsp. stick cinnamon
Preparation
-
Peel, core and slice
pears.
Cover with water and cook until tender but firm.
Drain
water completely and pack pears in hot jars.
