Salmon Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can salmon (15 to 16 oz.)
    1/3 c. minced onion
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. Crisco
Preparation
    Drain salmon, saving 2 tablespoons of liquid.
    Mix salmon, egg and onion until sticky.
    Add baking powder to salmon liquid, then stir into salmon mixture.
    Heat Crisco in pan.
    Form salmon mixture into patties.
    Fry in heated Crisco until golden brown.
