Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1 c. sour cream or buttermilk
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. diced rhubarb
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 c. cinnamon
Preparation
    Blend the first 3 ingredients.
    Add the sour milk or buttermilk, flour, soda, salt, vanilla and rhubarb.
    Top with the sugar and cinnamon combined before baking. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes in
    a greased 9 x 3-inch pan. Bake longer if using frozen rhubarb.
