Stewed Okra And Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
2 c. sliced okra
salt and pepper to taste
1 onion, chopped
2 c. cooked or canned tomatoes
Preparation

Melt fat in skillet. Brown onion and okra, slightly as it cooks.
Add tomatoes, salt and pepper, slowly until vegetables are tender and mixture is thick (about 30 minutes).
