Ingredients

4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. cream of tartar
6 c. flour
4 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

In a bowl, cream the sugar and eggs. Add rest of ingredients and mix well.
Remove from bowl and shape like a jelly roll. Refrigerate overnight.
Cut thin and bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Nuts may be added.
