Hot Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gallon jar of sliced dill pickles
12-oz jar of hot jalapeno peppers
4 lbs sugar
Preparation

Drain dill pickles.
Remove about half of the pickles from the jar and place in a large bowl.
Pour the sugar and jalapeno peppers, including the juice over the pickles in the jar.
Stir with a wooden spoon until the sugar dissolves.
Add remaining pickles to the jar, a few at a time, stirring after each addition. Let set for 4 or 5 days, stirring them each day; they do not need to be refrigerated during this time.
