Strawberry Shortcake Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 angel food cake
    1 small container Cool Whip
    1 pt. vanilla or strawberry ice cream
    1 container frozen strawberries, thawed
Preparation
    Cut cake in half to make 2 layers.
    Spoon out center of bottom layer.
    Place pieces in center hole.
    Drain strawberries and save juice.
    Fill bottom layer with ice cream.
    Poke holes all around bottom layer.
    Pour 1/2 juice over bottom layer and top with 1/2 strawberries.
    Place top layer over bottom layer.
    Poke holes in top layer.
    Pour other half of juice over top layer.
    Frost with Cool Whip and top with other 1/2 of strawberries.
