Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. beer
    3 large onions
Preparation
    Combine flour and salt; stir in beer and beat until smooth. Let batter stand for 3 hours.
    Cut onions into 1/2-inch slices and dip into batter.
    Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
