Speedy Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    3/4 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    6 Tbsp. milk
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Beat eggs with sugar, salt and nutmeg.
    Add butter, then add the flour, sifted with the baking powder, alternately with the milk.
    Drop batter by teaspoonfuls into hot fat and fry for about 3 minutes.
    These cakes turn themselves over in the fat.
    Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
