Memory Book Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 large eggs
    3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Beat margarine at medium speed.
    Gradually add sugar, beating well.
    Add eggs and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Combine flour, soda and salt.
    Gradually add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
    Stir in pecans.
    Shape dough into 2 (16-inch) rolls, wrap in wax paper and chill at least 4 hours.
    Cut in 1/3-inch slices.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes.
    Cool on wire racks.
