Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 tsp. soda
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. molasses (warm)
1 egg, beaten
Preparation
-
Mix warm molasses and shortening.
Add milk and egg; mix well. Add dry ingredients that have been sifted together.
Bake in a moderate oven for 30 minutes.
