Wild Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
    3/4 c. wild rice (raw), rinsed
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. white rice (uncooked)
    1/2 c. broken walnuts
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    rosemary and thyme to taste (if wanted)
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter.
    Drain mushrooms.
    Add water to liquid to measure 2 3/4 cups.
    Add to onion and boil.
    Add wild rice and salt.
    Simmer, covered, 20 minutes.
    Add white rice.
    Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until done.
    Add remaining ingredients.
