Sandy'S Polish Sausage And Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. smoked kielbasa sausage (Hillshire), cut in 1/2-inch slices
    1 medium head cabbage, cored and cut in eighths
    4 to 6 medium potatoes, cut in chunks
    4 to 5 medium carrots, quartered lengthwise and cut in 2-inch slices
    1/2 to 3/4 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Put cabbage and water in large pot.
    Add salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.
    Add sausage wheels; simmer.
    Add carrots. Scrub or peel potatoes; cut in chunks and add to simmering pot. Cover tightly; cook for 35 minutes after adding potatoes.
    Serve. A good, one-pot dish for 4!
