Pineapple Bread(Yields 10 To 12 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    2 c. plain flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. maraschino cherries, chopped
    2 eggs
    1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar and butter, creamed together.
    Add egg and mix dry ingredients.
    Mix in cherries, nuts and pineapple.
    Make in a 9 x 13-inch loaf pan, floured and greased.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Serve with whipped cream or plain.
    May be made ahead of time and put in freezer.
