Zippy Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. tarragon vinegar
    1 clove garlic
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. water
    dash of pepper, pepper sauce
    1 medium onion, sliced
    2 (6 oz.) cans button mushrooms (can double the mushrooms, if desired)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except onions and mushrooms. Mix well; add onions and mushrooms. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours.
