1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. instant oatmeal
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. coconut
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugars together.
Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
Add flour, soda and baking powder.
Add oatmeal, Rice Krispies and coconut.
Drop by teaspoon onto baking sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
